In Term 3, the children learned about dinosaurs! They explored a range of fiction and non-fiction texts to gather information and used this to complete a range of activities across the curriculum including: paper plate dinosaurs, baking, fact files and creating a dinosaur habitat.

In Term 2, the children learnt about special celebratory events that take place in their own community and in the wider world. The theme took them through a series of fun and meaningful events and activities. They discovered the different ways we celebrate – and the many different things those celebrations can be about!

In Term 1, the children were talking about themselves and what makes them unique. They looked at photographs of their family and thought about who is special to them and why. They were involved in group activities with their peers, getting to know each other better and settled in to school life.
